This privacy policy applies to the following Android application and its developer, as listed on Google Play:
SG Rain Now ("the app") is a Singapore rain nowcast utility. This page explains what data the app handles and who it is shared with. The app is provided by yzyy, an individual developer based in Singapore ("we", "us").
The app may request approximate (coarse) location permission. Location is used entirely on your device to select the closest rain region and forecast area. It is not stored by the app beyond that use and is not transmitted to us. You can decline or revoke the permission at any time in system settings; the app still works with a manually chosen area.
Forecast data is fetched from Singapore's open government data APIs (data.gov.sg). These requests carry standard network metadata (such as your IP address) to that service, but no identity or precise location from the app.
The app includes the following Google services, which collect device data under Google's own privacy policies:

We do not hold any user data ourselves, so there is nothing for us to delete on request. Data collected by the Google services above is retained under Google's retention policies; analytics data is retained for a limited period and crash reports are kept only as long as needed for stability work. Uninstalling the app stops all collection.
The app is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If our data practices change, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above before the change takes effect.
